The Michelin Group has prepared another new product. The BFGoodrich brand's SUV tyre range is joined by a new model - the BFGoodrich Urban Terrain T/A.
Drawing on the experience and research accumulated over the years developing off-road tyres, Michelin has created a tyre with the key qualities needed for use both on asphalt roads and on light off-road terrain (80% - road, 20% - off-road).
The new BFGoodrich Urban Terrain T/A offers good grip thanks to its aggressive tread pattern. The wide groove system promotes fast, efficient water evacuation from the contact patch, significantly reducing the risk of aquaplaning and ensuring excellent handling on wet roads.
The Urban Terrain T/A casing, reinforced by 20% (compared with the BFGoodrich G-Grip), ensures the tyre's durability and reduces the likelihood of mechanical damage when used off-road as well as on poor-quality, pot-holed asphalt roads. In addition, the increased tread depth helps deliver a high level of wear resistance.
For the 2016 summer season, the BFGoodrich Urban Terrain T/A will be available in 18 sizes for rim diameters from 15 to 18 inches.
