Nokian Tyres is a Finnish tyre manufacturer founded in 1932. Nokian is the world's only tyre manufacturer dedicated specifically to northern climate conditions. The company invented the world's first winter tyre (Kelirengas, 1934) and the first studded tyre (Kometa, 1936).
