About the brand

OZ Racing

OZ Racing is an Italian alloy rim manufacturer. Our range includes this brand's car rims as well as rim accessories - wheel bolts and nuts, hub centric rings, valves and centre caps. The company was founded in 1971 at a petrol station in Rossano Veneto near Venice by Silvano Oselladore and Pietro Zen, and its name is made up of the initials of their surnames. The brand belongs to the Italian company OZ S.p.A., which also makes MSW rims and, under licence, Sparco Wheels rims. According to the manufacturer, the rims are made in Italy, at the factory in San Martino di Lupari near Padua. OZ rims have raced in Formula 1 since 1985 and in the WRC rally championship since 1988. The Alleggerita HLT series uses High Light Technology: the barrel of the cast rim is roll-formed, which makes the rim lighter and stiffer. The manufacturer lists TÜV, KBA, NAD, UN/ECE 124 and JWL VIA certifications. When choosing a rim, the bolt pattern (PCD), offset (ET) and centre bore (DIA) should be checked.
