The new Ultra High Performance class tyre, the Asymmetric 5, uses innovative technologies that, compared with the previous Asymmetric 3 model, have improved braking performance on wet road surfaces and grip on dry ones. One of the elements behind these gains is the new rubber compound, which delivers these results while keeping noise levels, ride comfort and tyre wear at a good level. GOODYEAR has developed a new tyre tread that boosts the tyre's performance and reduces its flex under lateral forces. As a result, effective grip is achieved under rapid acceleration. The tyre also provides precise steering feedback.
From spring 2019, GOODYEAR is offering this new tyre in 51 sizes, from 17 to 22 inches in diameter.
