By introducing Winter Grip technology, the engineers managed to create a new rubber compound that improves the tyre's flexibility at low air temperatures, ensuring safe grip on ice- and snow-covered roads.
Mileage Plus technology prevents the cracking of the tread and the flaking of rubber particles that occur in the harsh winter road conditions. The new technology extends the ULTRA GRIP 9+ service life.
As a result of these measures, the new tyre offers more effective braking on snow-covered roads, greater resistance to aquaplaning and better handling on asphalt.
