Vredestein Wintrac Pro - a winter tyre for powerful passenger cars and SUVs, representing the top performance segment of the Vredestein range. The tread combines patented resins with a high silica content, which improves handling and braking on wet surfaces, snow and ice. The sharply angled centre grooves and shoulder sipes are laid out to improve handling in snow. The manufacturer states 15 percent better snow handling, 10 percent better wet braking and 10 percent greater aquaplaning resistance than the previous generation. Many sizes are available with a Y speed rating, rated for up to 300 km/h. The tyre carries the 3PMSF winter marking. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
