Sailun Ice Blazer Arctic 2 - a studless Nordic-type winter tyre for passenger cars and SUVs. Unlike the Alpine family, which is built for the damp Central European winter, the Arctic family is intended for the northern winter: the manufacturer states that specially developed compounds and dispersion technology keep the rubber flexible at very low temperatures, the L-shaped main grooves bite into deep snow and slush, the X-shaped grooves in the shoulder blocks improve self-cleaning, and the dense multi-directional sipes give grip on snow and ice. The range confirms that this is a tyre for ice and snow rather than for speed: every item has the T speed rating. Sizes run from R15 to R22, and all items are in XL specification. All items carry the 3PMSF marking and are marked as suitable for electric vehicles, so the tyre fits combustion-engine cars just as well as electric vehicles and hybrids.
