Nankang CR-S - a latest-generation Semi-Slick sports tyre for the track and the road. The inner side of the tread has two wide circumferential grooves with a greater groove wall angle and a rounded base, and the void ratio in this section is 26.5 percent, which improves water dispersal. The outer shoulder is shaped like that of a slick racing tyre and provides lateral grip in corners. Micro-grooves in the centre section carry heat away during hard driving, while the new cap compound reaches its working temperature more quickly. Special fibres are built into the sidewall compound to increase stiffness and support. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
