Matador MP93 Nordicca is a winter tyre for passenger cars with a completely new tread pattern. A higher number of biting edges improves braking and handling on snow-covered roads. The V-shaped groove structure with continuous open grooves channels away water and slush, so the risk of aquaplaning is reduced. An even pressure distribution across the contact patch evens out wear, increases mileage and reduces rolling resistance. The manufacturer names four main benefits: traction in snow, resistance to aquaplaning, high mileage and compatibility with electric vehicles. The tyre carries the 3PMSF winter marking. Matador labels it EV-compatible, so it is also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
