Metzeler Tourance - adventure and enduro motorcycle tyres that Metzeler calls a block tyre for dual-purpose motorcycles and intends for large, tarmac-oriented enduro bikes. The tread pattern is built for frequent road use without losing traction off road: large central blocks give a wide contact patch, low rolling noise and stability at high speed, wide shoulder blocks improve grip at lean, and variable-width grooves channel water away. The radial rear sizes use a zero-degree belt construction with a lightweight carcass and the patented MAW steel cord layout technology, while for radial front tyres Metzeler uses its patented MBS bias belt. The compound combines carbon black and silica for durability and for grip in both dry and wet conditions.
