Continental TKC 80

Continental TKC 80 - an enduro and adventure tyre that Continental calls an icon both on tarmac and off road. The manufacturer rates it as a 50/50 model: half its performance on the road, half off it. The tyre has been on the market since 1985, and Continental names self-cleaning tread blocks and lateral stability on loose surfaces as its defining qualities, joined by good handling and mileage on tarmac. Over the years the compound has been refined for wet grip, and a nylon carcass and an aramid layer to stabilise the tread have been introduced. The model is original equipment on the KTM 690 Enduro R, Husqvarna 701 Enduro and Triumph TF 450-E. Sizes fit 17-21 inch rims, and both tubeless (TL) and tube type (TT) versions are available.
