Zmax Winterhawke II

Zmax Winterhawke II is an HP-class studless winter tyre for large SUVs and crossovers, as its size range covers 18 to 22 inch diameters. The centre of the tread carries a V-shaped groove, while the pattern blocks combine fine S-shaped grooves with straight I-shaped sipes, increasing the contact area on wet and snow-covered surfaces. The intersections of the longitudinal and lateral grooves interlock with one another in snow, and the manufacturer states that braking distance on snow is shortened by roughly 10 per cent. The new silica rubber compound stays flexible even below -30 degrees. The tyre carries the 3PMSF winter marking. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
