Transmate is a Chinese tyre brand owned by Tercelo Tire Group. The group was founded in 2019 as the tyre and rubber division of WZ Group; it is headquartered in Qingdao, and its factories are in Shandong province. According to the manufacturer, 15 million passenger car tyres are made there every year, and the products are exported to Europe, North America and other regions.
Transmate tyres sit in the affordable price segment, so they appeal to buyers for whom price matters. The Transerenus ECO summer tyre has four longitudinal grooves for draining water and an asymmetric tread, and the manufacturer promises lower rolling resistance. The Transeason 4S all-season tyre has widened lateral grooves in its tread for snow and wet roads, while the Transeason VAN is designed for vans. For the Latvian winter there is the Frost Bite TW01 - a studless winter tyre with the 3PMSF marking. The range also includes the Touring H7, Sport D1 and Transfortis MT01.
