Taurus (Kormoran) tyres

Taurus and Kormoran are economy-class tyre brands of the Michelin group. Taurus began in Hungary: the Ruggyanta Árugyár factory in Budapest was founded in 1882, and the Taurus name has been in use since 1913. Kormoran comes from Poland - the Olsztyn factory was founded in 1935, tyre production started there in 1959, and the Kormoran brand appeared in 1994. The range covers passenger cars, SUVs and light commercial vehicles. Summer tyres are represented by the Summer 3, Summer 3 SUV, 701 SUV and Ultra High Performance models, while the Light Truck 101 and Cargo Speed EVO are intended for light commercial vehicles. For the Latvian winter there are both studless winter tyres (Winter Snow, SUV Winter) and studded ones (Ice, Ice SUV, 501), plus the WINTER LT 201 load-axle model.
