Starmaxx tyres

Starmaxx is a brand of the Turkish tyre manufacturer Petlas. Petlas was founded in 1976 in Kırşehir, originally as a state-owned company making tyres for military aviation, and today its products are exported to more than 100 countries. The Starmaxx range covers tyres for passenger cars, SUVs and 4x4s, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses, as well as agricultural and industrial tyres. The passenger car line-up consists of the Novaro and Ultra Sport summer tyres, the Incurro SUV models, the Ice Gripper and Polarmaxx winter tyres, and all-season tyres. The Prowin winter series is intended for light commercial vehicles. The winter models are designed for grip on snow and ice, which matters in the Latvian winter, when winter tyres are compulsory from 1 December to 1 March. In price terms Starmaxx belongs to the budget segment - an affordable alternative to European premium brands for drivers looking for a balance between price and safety.
