Roadstone is a brand of the South Korean manufacturer Nexen Tire Corporation. The company was founded in 1942 as Heung-A Tire, in 1956 it produced the first car tyres made in Korea, and in 2000 it changed its name to Nexen Tire. Roadstone tyres are sold in more than 100 countries and are built in factories in South Korea, China and the Czech Republic, while development is handled by research centres in Korea, China, Germany and the USA. The range includes the Eurovis Sport 04, Eurovis HP02 and N'Fera summer tyres, the WinGuard and Eurovis Alpine winter tyres, the N'Priz 4 Seasons all-season tyre and the Roadian series for SUVs. For the Latvian winter the WinGuard WinSpike line is a good fit: the same size is available both ready-studded and studdable, so tyres can be chosen to match road conditions and studding rules. In price terms the brand sits in the budget and mid-price segment.
