Prinx Winter Excelia - a winter tyre for passenger cars, SUVs and vans. The WinterFlex compound, with a high silica content and a functionalised polymer with a low glass transition temperature, keeps the tyre flexible across a wide temperature range. The V-shaped directional tread pattern channels snow and water from the centre out to the edges, while three-dimensional sipes in the shoulder and centre blocks control block deformation. Chamfered block corners and a tie bar increase the contact area and block stiffness, and the square contact patch evens out pressure distribution. The model has been awarded the TÜV SÜD quality mark. The tyre bears the 3PMSF winter marking. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
