Platin RP420 - a summer tyre for passenger cars and SUVs with a directional tread pattern. Circumferential drainage grooves together with hydrodynamically shaped lateral grooves in the shoulder area clear water quickly and give a large safety margin on wet roads, while the curved sipes on the inner and outer shoulder improve wet-weather performance. The central rib increases tread stiffness and improves handling, while the chamfered block corners and the connecting ridges, or Tie Bars, reduce rolling noise. A high content of silica and new polymers in the compound reduces rolling resistance. The model is available in 53 sizes for 15-19 inch rims. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
