Pirelli Scorpion Winter 3 - studless winter tyres for SUVs and crossovers, designed for Central European-type winters with snow, wet roads and dry asphalt. Pirelli says the construction and tread pattern were developed to handle the greater weight of the latest SUVs, while stiff tread blocks with optimised sipe density maintain handling and wear resistance even under heavy loads. The patented Snow Keeper Teeth hold snow in the grooves and improve grip on fresh, loose snow, while the zigzag centre groove provides lateral grip. The manufacturer states that every size is rated A for wet grip on the EU tyre label. The tyre carries the 3PMSF symbol. Some sizes are available with Pirelli ELECT technology for electrified SUVs and with PNCS noise reduction. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
