Otani tyres

Otani is a Thai tyre manufacturer (Otani Tire Co., Ltd.) with plants in Nakhon Pathom province. The company makes passenger car tyres, radial and cross-ply truck tyres, and tyres for agricultural and industrial machinery. The passenger car range includes the comfort-oriented EK3000 with an asymmetric tread and variable-pitch blocks (Multi Pitch) to cut noise, the high-performance KC1000 with a resin-containing compound for grip on wet surfaces, the KC2000 with deep tread grooves for handling in the rain, and the KN1000 - a UHP tyre for electric and hybrid vehicles with reduced rolling resistance and a sound-absorbing foam layer. On price the brand belongs to the budget class. In the Rīgas Riepas catalogue Otani is represented by summer tyres in 16-20 inch diameters, mostly in XL specification. The manufacturer has no winter or all-season tyres in its passenger car range, so tyres for the Latvian winter have to be looked for among other brands.
