Nankang Ice Activa Grip 2 (SW-9)

Nankang Ice Activa Grip 2 (SW-9) - a studded winter tyre for passenger cars and SUVs, replacing the SW-8. The stud count is 190% above the Nordic regulatory requirement, and the triangular carbide stud gives more friction on ice than a round one. The multi-groove design in the tread centre improves snow performance, while 3D sipes in the shoulder blocks maintain handling stability. According to the manufacturer's figures, braking on ice is 11.6% better and on snow 3.4% better than with the predecessor. Available from R15 to R20. All items carry the 3PMSF marking. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
