MRF is India's largest tyre manufacturer, headquartered in Chennai. The company's origins go back to 1946, when K. M. Mammen Mappillai started making toy balloons in Tiruvottiyur. In 1952 MRF moved into tread rubber, and in 1961 the first tyre rolled out of the factory, made in collaboration with the American company Mansfield Tire & Rubber. In 1967 MRF became the first Indian company to export tyres to the USA. The brand is also known in motorsport - for many years MRF has run its own rally team in the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship.
Our range includes MRF tyres for passenger cars and SUVs, mainly from the Wanderer family. The Wanderer Street is designed for city and highway driving, while the Wanderer A/T is also built for off-road use - the manufacturer gives it a cut-resistant tread compound and a multi-layer steel belt. The MRF models we carry are summer tyres.
