Motomaster tyres

MotoMaster is the own-brand automotive line of Canadian Tire, a Canadian retail chain, and has been around since 1933. Oils, filters, batteries and tyres are all sold under this name. The brand has no tyre factories of its own - the tyres are made to Canadian Tire's order by major manufacturers, formerly Goodyear and Cooper, while the latest winter model was developed by Hankook. In 2011 MotoMaster was the best-selling brand of replacement passenger car tyres in Canada. The range includes Winter Edge winter tyres, the Hydra Edge and Performance Edge models, and the Eliminator X-Trail A/T off-road tyre. Rīgas Riepas stocks the Winter Edge II winter tyre, which came onto the market in autumn 2023. It carries the 3PMSF and M+S markings and has a soft winter compound, three-dimensional sipes and a directional tread with grooves that channel snow and water away. The tyre was built for the Canadian winter, so it also suits Latvian snow, slush and icy roads.
