Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R - a road-legal track tyre optimised for dry surfaces and fast lap times. Multi-Compound technology in the tread combines two compounds: a long-molecular-chain elastomer for cornering grip and a firmer compound for steering precision and wet grip. Dynamic Response technology helps hold the chosen line even during overtaking manoeuvres. The reworked tread pattern increases contact with the road surface by 10%, while the exclusive motorsport compound saves 0.5 seconds per kilometre of track, according to the manufacturer's figures. Track Longevity Technology 2.0 uses an exceptionally wear-resistant compound in the reinforced outer shoulder. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
