Michelin Alpin 6 is Michelin's latest-generation winter tyre for passenger cars, intended for severe winter conditions. The new-generation rubber compound is developed for grip at low temperatures, and the manufacturer states that, compared with the previous generation, the Alpin 6 improves performance by 6% on wet surfaces and by 8% on snow. The tread is designed so that braking and traction on snow are maintained even when the tyre is already worn, while the Michelin wear indicator makes it easy to keep track of the tread's condition. The tyre is studless and carries the 3PMSF winter marking. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
