MABOR tyres

Mabor is a Portuguese tyre brand whose history began in 1938 in the town of Lousado in northern Portugal. The factory was not completed until after the war, and its first passenger car tyre, the Silent Safety, rolled off the line in 1946. Mabor has been part of the Continental group since 1990, and the manufacturer describes the brand as offering quality tyres at a fair price. It is an affordable brand, made at the same Lousado plant. The Mabor range includes summer tyres in the Sport-Jet series, winter tyres in the Winter-Jet series and Van-Jet tyres for light vans. The latest summer tyre, the Sport-Jet 5, was developed with a focus on safe braking on wet roads, lower noise, lower rolling resistance and higher mileage. The manufacturer says it suits cars with combustion engines as well as hybrids and electric vehicles. Mabor summer tyres are suitable for everyday driving in town and on the open road, including on rainy summer days.
