Lakesea is a Chinese tyre brand owned by Qingdao Lakesea Tyre Co., Ltd., which was founded in 1994. Since 2005 the company has focused on specialist products, and in 2007 it became the first manufacturer of M/T off-road tyres in China. It runs two brands: Lakesea for off-road and military tyres, and Zestino for motorsport tyres. Its products are exported to the USA, Europe, Australia and Japan. Lakesea is not an all-round passenger car tyre brand but a narrow-niche manufacturer. The M/T range includes Mudster M/T, Crocodile M/T, Alligator, Grack M/T, Xterrain and Mud Extreme M/T. For the Mudster M/T the manufacturer states a self-cleaning tread pattern and 20% more rubber in the upper sidewall, which reduces the risk of sidewall damage. The catalogue carries Lakesea summer tyres in R15 and R16 diameters for SUVs and pick-ups, while for winter conditions in Latvia you will need winter tyres from a different brand.
