The Kormoran Snow is a studless winter tyre for passenger cars. The model is built around a V-shaped directional tread pattern which, together with a high number of blocks and a dense network of sipes, provides traction on snow, wet surfaces and slush. The number and density of the grooves, along with a specific lateral-groove angle, help channel away water and slush and reduce the risk of aquaplaning. The compound is formulated to keep the rubber supple even in hard frost, while the new silica compound reduces rolling resistance and fuel consumption. On the EU label, wet grip is class C and exterior rolling noise is 70-72 dB. All winter tyres carry the 3PMSF marking. Also suitable for electric vehicles and hybrids.
