Kapsen is a tyre brand owned by the Chinese manufacturer Shandong Huasheng Rubber Co., Ltd. The company was founded in 1994 in Shandong Province, its plant covers 550,000 square metres, and annual capacity reaches 15 million passenger car tyres and 3.5 million truck tyres. Production uses equipment from Japan, Germany, the USA and Italy; the products are exported to Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania, and they meet DOT, ECE and EU labelling requirements. The range includes the ComfortMax and SportMax summer and all-season tyres, the PracticalMax H/T, A/T and M/T tyres for SUVs and off-road vehicles, DurableMax commercial vehicle tyres and IceMax winter tyres. Kapsen tyres belong to the budget price segment. In Latvia winter tyres are compulsory from 1 December to 1 March, and IceMax models carry the 3PMSF symbol and are available both studded and studless.
