Hankook iON evo SUV (IK01A) is a summer tyre for electric SUVs and crossovers. Grip-Boost technology reinforces the casing and reduces sidewall movement by 10 percent, while the Kevlar hybrid belt with aramid fibre holds the tyre's shape at high speed and improves steering response. The widened shoulder blocks are designed for the high torque of an electric motor. The ProDurable compound and Round-Even technology spread the load more evenly and extend service life, while Opti-Cure lowers rolling resistance and helps preserve the range on a single charge. Noise is kept down by the i Sound Absorber and the Opti-Pitch tread block arrangement. All the tyres of this model in our range carry the EV marking, so the manufacturer has optimised them for electric vehicles.
