Grenlander Winter GL868 is a studless winter tyre for passenger cars and crossovers, with an asymmetric tread pattern. The outer half is made up of densely packed tread blocks that are responsible for handling, while wide grooves on the inner half clear water and slush, reducing the risk of side-slip. Zigzag longitudinal grooves on both sides bite into snow and maintain stability, and 3D zigzag sipes improve performance on ice. According to the manufacturer, the silica-based rubber compound stays flexible at temperatures from -30 to -40 degrees. Sizes are available in diameters from 12 to 20 inches. The tyre carries the 3PMSF winter marking. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
