Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 3 SUV - a winter tyre for SUVs and crossovers that brings the solutions of the UltraGrip Performance 3 range to large rim sizes. SnowProtect technology combines an increased sipe density with snow claws - extended grooves in the shoulder area that improve grip in loose and deep snow. Wet Grip+ technology with a rounded contact patch channels water out to the sides rather than forwards and reduces the risk of aquaplaning. Three-dimensional sipes in the shoulder zone increase tread stiffness on dry surfaces. The manufacturer states up to 3% lower rolling resistance, up to 10% less weight and up to 36% quieter cabin noise compared with the previous generation. The tyres carry the 3PMSF winter symbol. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
