The Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 2 is a high-performance winter tyre whose compound keeps its grip even at very low temperatures. Adaptive SipeGrip technology improves grip and braking on packed snow and ice. Longitudinal saw-tooth grooves aid acceleration and hill climbing, while V-shaped grooves channel water away from the contact patch quickly, so the tyre stays controllable on wet and slushy surfaces. Optimised tread stiffness ensures confident handling on wet and dry roads, and the continuous centre rib gives more precise steering in dry conditions. The arrangement of the tread blocks reduces rolling noise. The tyres carry the 3PMSF winter symbol. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
