Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance Gen-1 SUV - a winter tyre for SUVs, designed around their greater weight and higher centre of gravity. The tread blocks are stiffer to cope with SUV loads and are angled rather than set straight, which improves grip in snow. The 3D BIS block interlocking system balances dry-road handling with snow performance, ActiveGrip increases the contact patch, and the TOP indicator in the tread gradually fades away to show how far the tyre has worn. In TÜV tests the wet braking distance was 1.9 metres shorter than that of the leading competitors. The tyres carry the 3PMSF winter symbol. All the tyres of this model that we offer carry the EV marking, so the manufacturer has optimised them for electric vehicles.
