Product description

Falken e.ZIEX

Falken e.ZIEX - summer tyres originally developed by Falken for electric vehicles and tailored to the demands of electric and hybrid cars. The manufacturer ranks it among its best tyres for energy efficiency, noise and rolling resistance. All tread blocks have chamfered edges, which prevent pressure peaks and give better grip on dry and wet roads, shorter braking distances and even wear. The shoulder contour is designed to relieve load, which cuts rolling resistance and wear and extends an electric car's range. Noise-dampening sipes with an offset groove arrangement reduce driving noise. In a test by auto motor sport magazine, the e.ZIEX took first place for efficiency with a rolling resistance coefficient of 5.7 kg/t. It is original equipment on the Audi Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron. It also suits cars with combustion engines.
