Avon tyres

Avon is a British tyre brand founded in 1885, although it has been making tyres since 1904. After the Cooper acquisition in 2021 the brand passed into Goodyear's ownership, and in February 2026 the group narrowed it to motorcycle tyres only: the passenger car lines are being discontinued, while motorcycle tyre production has moved to Goodyear's motorcycle plant in Montluçon, France. Our catalogue carries the Cobra Chrome AV91 and AV92 - Avon's core tyres for cruisers and custom motorcycles; in 2026 the line covers 77 sizes from 15 to 23 inches, 14 of them with a white sidewall. The 3D Supersport represents the hypersport class: a Silica Dual Compound tread with a harder-wearing compound in the centre and a softer one at the edges. The brand has a long history in motorsport and motorcycle racing. A few individual Avon passenger car tyres are also available.
