Austone tyres

Austone is a tyre brand created in Australia in 1999, and its name comes from the phrase "Australia No. One". In 2006 the brand began cooperating with Cooper Tire and the Shandong Chengshan Group, and today Austone is one of four brands belonging to the Chinese manufacturer Prinx Chengshan, whose history dates back to 1976. Its European office is in Darmstadt, Germany. Austone tyres belong to the economy segment and are intended for everyday driving. The summer range is represented by the Athena line, the all-season range by the Athena SP-401, and the winter range by the Skadi SP-901 for passenger cars and the SP-902 for vans, along with the Glacia and Nixia models. Importantly for the Latvian climate, Austone winter tyres carry the 3PMSF symbol and are built for driving in snow, slush and on wet roads, while the all-season tyres are useful during the changeable transitional periods in spring and autumn.
