Atlander Lander Studs ATL78 - a studded winter tyre built for northern conditions that keeps its rubber flexible in hard frost. A compound with a low glass transition temperature stops the tread from hardening, so grip on ice is retained. Zigzag grooves improve traction and push snow out of the tread, V-shaped blocks with serrated edges provide braking force in snow, and the optimised shape of the stud pockets disperses the ice dust created as the studs meet the road surface. Shallow grooves absorb the film of water and improve grip on packed snow and ice, while three-dimensional wave-shaped steel sipes maintain driving stability. The tyres carry the 3PMSF winter symbol. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
