Road salt can damage a polished face - for winter we recommend painted or steel rims.

Before fitting, put the rim on the hub without a tyre: check that it turns freely and does not catch the brake caliper, and that the bolts screw in to their full length.

About the brand

Dotz

Dotz is an alloy rim brand whose history began in 1985 in South Africa. In 1999 the brand moved to Europe and became part of the Austrian ALCAR group of companies, which also owns several other rim brands. Dotz's European headquarters and design centre are in Hirtenberg near Vienna, and the brand draws its design inspiration from US and Japanese tuning culture. The rims are made by ISO 9001-certified manufacturing partners, and Dotz alloy rim models go through TÜV load tests before they go on sale. Many models have ABE and ECE approvals, and the car rims are available in 16-22 inch sizes. The rims come in silver, matt or gloss black, gunmetal, bronze and gold, and some models have a coating that resists road salt. Rim accessories are also sold under the Dotz brand - centre caps, valves and logo badges. When choosing a rim, the bolt pattern (PCD), offset (ET) and centre bore (DIA) need to match.
