The new MICHELIN PRIMACY 4 summer tyres have been available since summer 2018. The tyre's asymmetric tread delivers a high level of performance on wet roads, even when the tyre is worn.
The PRIMACY 4 is characterised by good handling, effective braking on wet roads and driving comfort over a long service life. To achieve a high level of grip with the road surface, the new tyre uses two types of grooves with a square profile that narrows towards the base.
Special elastomers are used in the PRIMACY 4 rubber compound, providing grip on wet roads. In tests conducted by the technical inspection company TUV SUD in tyre size 205/55R16, the PRIMACY 4 showed the best results among comparable competing tyres. The new tyre is also characterised by greater mileage compared with other manufacturers' tyres.
