e. PRIMACY is the first tyre to be released with an Environmental Product Declaration. An Environmental Product Declaration is an independently verified document that assesses the environmental impact of a product, in this case a tyre. The Michelin e. PRIMACY is engineered to keep its impact on the surrounding environment to a minimum throughout its entire service life. e. PRIMACY is the best-rated tyre in terms of rolling resistance. It is worth noting that the tyre's other characteristics, such as safety, grip and durability, remain at the highest level you would expect from a Michelin tyre. Michelin also supports the transition from petrol and diesel vehicles to electric and hybrid ones. Thanks to its excellent rolling resistance, the energy efficiency of electric vehicles is improved, which means a greater range on a single charge.
This innovative tyre features a U-shaped groove to maintain a high level of water evacuation throughout the tyre's service life. The Max Touch construction increases contact with the road by distributing acceleration, braking and cornering forces, ensuring a longer tread life without any loss of performance.
The tyre will be available from 2021, in rim diameters from 15 to 20.
