About the brand

HUF

HUF TPMS sensors (tyre pressure sensors) and their service kits are made by the German automotive parts manufacturer Huf Group. The company was founded in Velbert in 1908 by Ernst Hülsbeck and August Fürst. It started out making locks and keys for furniture, later for cars, and vehicle access systems are still its main business. 70% of Huf's shares are owned by the founding families, and 30% have belonged to Sodecia since May 2025. The headquarters has remained in Velbert.

Huf Electronics in Bretten (formerly BERU Electronics) has supplied direct-measurement pressure monitoring systems to carmakers since 1997. In 2019 Huf and Baolong Group merged their TPMS divisions into the joint venture BH SENS, whose plants make the sensors in Germany and China. They go both to car factories as original equipment and to the aftermarket - universal and replacement sensors, diagnostic tools and service kits.
