Maxxis Arctic Trekker SP-02 - a studless winter tyre for passenger cars with an asymmetric tread pattern developed for Northern European conditions. The 3D tread construction improves grip on ice and snow, while the sawtooth pattern increases traction in snow. Reinforced shoulder blocks improve stability and cornering behaviour. The manufacturer uses a soft winter rubber compound that stays flexible at low temperatures, so the combination of pattern, construction and compound delivers safe driving on ice and snow. Sizes run from 13 to 19 inches with T and S speed ratings. The tyre carries the 3PMSF alpine symbol. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
