Kleber Krisalp HP3 is a studless winter tyre for passenger cars, developed within the Michelin group. The tread uses a large number of lateral sipes and the rubber compound is based on functional elastomers - together they improve grip on snow-covered roads. In the manufacturer's own tests in size 205/55 R16 91H, compared with the Krisalp HP2, the braking distance on snow was 4 per cent shorter, the ability to pull away improved by 5 per cent and the braking distance on ice was 8 per cent shorter. On wet surfaces the braking distance was cut by 2.2 metres and the wet grip label class was raised from C to B. The tyre carries the 3PMSF and M+S markings. Also suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles.
