Hankook Winter i*cept iON (IW01) is a studless winter tyre the manufacturer developed specifically for electric vehicles. EV Contour technology increases the tyre's cornering stiffness by 7 percent, so it transmits an electric motor's torque better and follows steering inputs more precisely. The sipe angles are optimised for braking and traction on snow. The aerodynamic profile, together with a modern compound and Hankook's vulcanisation technology, reduces rolling resistance, which helps preserve battery range, while the Hankook Sound Absorber foam layer reduces the noise level. The manufacturer offers the model from 18 to 22 inches. The tyre carries the 3PMSF winter marking. Every tyre of this model we offer carries the EV marking.
