Barum Polaris 5 is a passenger-car winter tyre from Barum, Continental's second brand. Transverse notches in the centre ribs and in the shoulder area, together with specially arranged multifunctional sipes, improve grip in every direction, while the design of the central pattern increases lateral grip on snow. An optimised layout of longitudinal and lateral grooves channels water away from the tread on wet roads, and tread blocks of varying length reduce rolling noise. The tyre is studless and carries the 3PMSF winter marking. All the tyres of this model that we offer carry the EV marking, the manufacturer's confirmation that they meet the requirements of electric vehicles.
